TS-SW2501S2 Features Interlaced Basalt/Carbon Fiber Reinforced IMPP Cone To ensure that you get more natural bass, we've incorporated out new Basalt fiber technology into our shallow subwoofers. The volcanic-rock fibers create a cone that is lightweight, rigid, well damped, stable in temperature extremes, and more . In short, this bass really rocks. 3-Layer Radial Surround A sub's surround plays a key role in its overall performance. In order for bass response to be clear and tight, the surround has to respond evenly around its entire circumference without flexing or puckering, even at high volume levels. That's why Pioneer created a surround consisting of two layers of urethane, with a layer of interwoven fiber between them. It's strong, stable, and it reduces distortion. Spring-Compression Binding Posts Why does Pioneer use Spring-Compression Binding Posts, instead of standard speaker wire terminals? So your speaker wire NEVER shakes loose due to vibration (either from the road or from your music). When you insert the wire, the connector keeps a constant pressure on it. And it won't let go. The KBT-30 is a triple port battery terminal with multiple gauge configurations. From the factory the terminal includes three (3) 1/0 Gauge fittings and one (1) 4 Gauge fitting. Additional 4 gauge fittings may be purchased for triple 4 Gauge output.

Our KonFused compression fitting termination offers the highest level of surface contact area. Better connection means less resistance, which equals higher voltage to your system. The KonFused System also allows for multiple gauges to be used without any product modification. Please review our compression fitting PDF for questions regarding this design.

Each terminal includes a Polarity indicator (+ / - ) directly on the terminal and cover. The Positive terminal has a larger diameter post opening to match your battery. The Negative terminal uses a smaller diameter post opening. This is a safety feature your battery manufacture has established to protect against reverse polarity connectivity. A set allen screw is used to tighten the KBT-30 onto your battery's post. After installing the cables into the fittings and tightening them into place, place the terminal onto your battery's post and tighten this screw. Your battery's posts are made from lead. This is a soft metal. Be careful not to over tighten the allen screw, the hard metal of the terminal will slightly compress the lead terminal post.

How do the Kompression Terminals Work? Strip the jacket off the cable; Insert the wire into the fitting; fold the copper strands as shown in the photo; Tighten the fitting into the block, compressing the cable into place. This results in 360 degrees of contact area, unlike set screw blocks that have just the one high pressure point. The Kompression Fitting allows more strand/block interaction, which results in less resistance and more current flow. Read more

KnuKonceptz Kolossus amp installation kit's feature our top of the line Kolossus Fleks power and ground cables. Made up of ultra flexible pvc and ultra fine tinned strands of oxygen free copper (OFC) The KFX-AK8 amp kit provides 20 feet of power wire and 3 feet of black ground wire. The KnuKonceptz FH-24 fuse holder with a 50A fuse is provided within the KFX-AK8 amp install kit, but can be upgraded to a maximum of 60A fuse (sold separately). The fuse holder does not come installed within the cable, this allows the installer to place the inline fuse holder in an optimum location during installation. It also allows the installer to extend the power wire 1-3' by using the inline fuse holder to add cable to the main run (leaving the 20' as one unit and using the FH-24 to "splice" a few feet of wire)

Signal for your 2 channel amplifier installation kit is carried by the Klarity Kable 5 Meter (16.25') RCA Cable. The Klarity RCA Cable is a copper braid shielded coaxial RCA that uses a molded metal RCA terminal with strain relief for a durable, low loss connection to your head unit and amplifier. A remote turn on lead is built into the Klarity RCA Cable making for less cables to run during the installation of your amp kit. This wire is connected to your radio's power antenna lead or amp turn on lead (refer to your head unit's manual) Your amplifier's output is sent through KnuKonceptz Klear 12 gauge speaker wire, 20 feet of 12 gauge clear blue speaker wire is included with the kit

KCA series amp kits have replaced the KLM series. The difference in a new ultra flex jacket, all other components are identical as is the cables size/construction.

KnuKonceptz continues to blaze new trails for automotive audio enthusiasts with its new Copper Clad Aluminum Cable dubbed 'KCA' (Kolossus Copper Aluminum). Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) is made up of 90% Aluminum and 10% Copper. Consisting of 29.44mm^2 of CCA the KCA Kable is equal in size to the Kolossus Kable, but is designed for lighter current loads and not lightening your wallet.

The KCA 4 Gauge Kable used throughout this kit offers incredible flexibility and a rugged PVC outer jacket that is impervious to grease and oil. The PVC outer jacket can with-stand the extreme temperatures (-40 to 105 C).

Beware of "1600 Watt" amp kits that include a 50 or 60A fuse. Its physically impossible for these kits to support this load (refer to our comparison photo)

How many watts can this amp kit handle? At KnuKonceptz, we do not use "watts" to rate our amp kits. This is a very inaccurate method to determine what the proper gauge wire required for your amp installation. There are many amp manufactures and not all of them represent the output of their product accurately. Please refer to your amplifier's fuse rating, this is a number a manufacture can not fake, well they could but it would put their product in harms way! Add up the fuses on the end of your amp (two 30A fuses = 60A total draw) If this number is under 80A, this kit will fit your application. If over 80A, a larger gauge wire would be required or use our Kolossus Flex 4 gauge amp installation kit.
